Raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour may benefit a few workers.  However, economists agree it will hurt most Americans, especially the poor.  How you may ask?  The minimum wage is also tied to union contracts.  Therefore, union workers salary automatically increases causing all salaries to increase.  While some may think this is good, there are consequences.

Minimum wage jobs were meant for entry level workers, such as young workers seeking jobs for spending and gas money while gaining work experience.  When the minimum wage becomes a living wage, many entry level jobs that benefit the poor and young workers are eliminated.  Instead workers, who are fortunate to get the higher wage, hold the position as a permanent job.

With the minimum wage and union wage increase, as well as higher health care costs, the business costs also increase forcing businesses to raise their prices, cut hours, or eliminate jobs.  Some businesses may close while larger companies may transplant their business to another business friendly country.  Some businesses have already begun eliminating jobs with computer technology.  Ordering an airline ticket or a Happy Meal from a computer screen eliminates jobs.  Economists estimate 10% of entry level jobs will be eliminated while the price of goods and services increase, causing Americans to pay billions in more cost.  The result will be fewer jobs for young people, less hours for worker, an increase in crime, and an increase in homelessness.

With fewer jobs available, one may think that we should take care of our own people.  Instead, our government has compounded the problem by allowing 700 Syrian refugees to come to America daily.  There are 10-20 million people here illegally and an overburdened criminal system has begun releasing criminals with no jobs available.   As a result, there will be more unemployed people who seek government assistance.  Therefore, government agencies will be overwhelmed as many more will struggle to get assistance. This makes the minimum wage debate a win-win for Democrats.  Young workers see them as compassionate for increasing the minimum wage.  Union, who donate to Democrats, receives more union dues.  More people would be on government aid while the Democrats use class envy, blaming businesses and Wall Street rather than blaming themselves.  The gap between the rich and the poor just got larger.

Thirty years ago, the minimum wage was $3.35 an hour.  At this rate, the minimum wage will be $75.00 an hour in another 30 years.  Imagine the cost increase in the family budget.  That will hurt America, especially the poor.  Those who struggle are looking for government to provide solutions not realizing that government has created the problem.

ACLU created to declare God dead in America

Filed under: Uncategorized — frankaquila @ 12:00 am

From its founding, America was established as a Judeo-Christian nation.  There are numerous quotes, facts, and imprints on America to prove this fact.  Yet, there has been an ongoing effort to declare God dead in America.  Socialists and Communists saw Christianity as a danger to stopping their progressive movement of transferring society.  They feared Christians wouldn’t join their socialist movement or rely on the need of government since Christianity relies on Christ.

To stop Christianity, the American Civil Liberties Union (A.C.L.U) was established to lead this charge to make America a godless society. The ACLU was established by self-proclaimed communist Roger Baldwin in 1920 to “suppress” Christians through a godless revolution and ultimately make America a communist nation.  In his book, Liberty Under the Soviets, he explains, “I was not an innocent liberal.  I wanted what the communist wanted….”  Baldwin further defined socialism as the means and communism as the goal stating, “We are for socialism, disarmament, and ultimately for abolishing the state itself…” “We seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class, and the sole control of those who produce wealth.  Communism is the goal.” (See )

On January 17, 1931, a Congressional Committee investigating communist activities in America issued the following in a report:  “The American Civil Liberties Union is closely affiliated with the communist movement in the United States, and fully 90% of its efforts are on behalf of Communists who have come into conflict with the law.  It claims to stand for free speech, free press, and free assembly; but it is quite apparent that the main function of the ACLU is to attempt to protect the communists in their advocacy of force and violence to overthrow the Government…..Roger N. Baldwin, its guiding spirit, makes no attempt to hide his friendship for the communists and their principles.” (See )

Goal number 16 of the communists as reported by Congressman Herlong from “The Naked Communist” by Cleon Skousen is to “Use technical decisions of the court to weaken basic American institutions, by claiming their activities violate civil rights” and goal 29 is to “Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old fashion, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis. And replace our nation of “laws, not men” with royal decree emanating from appointed judges and executive orders.  Replace elected officials with bureaucrats”.

To accomplish these goals, the Democrats are using the judiciary to appoint judges who are card carrying members of the ACLU, including Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who was general counsel to the ACLU prior to her appointment to the Supreme Court.   President Obama has appointed several radical judges to key positions in the judicial system including Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagen to the Supreme Court.  He has also appointed Edward Chen, David Hamilton and Goodwin Liu, which the Washington Times has labeled as “radical” judicial nominees.  This is not surprising since socialist and communist organizations throughout the world and within America have supported President Obama and the Democrat party.

Karl Marx, the Father of Communism stated, “My object is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism.”

Through the courts, the socialists and communists have used the ACLU to fight against Christianity.  The core belief of the ACLU has not changed.  They will use the courts to progress toward communism.  As Roger Baldwin, founder of the ACLU, stated “Communism is the goal.”

Whittaker Chambers, who was a communist spy said, “The Communist vision is the vision of man without God.  It is the vision of man’s mind displacing God as the creative intelligence of the world.”

In order to achieve this goal, is to make God dead in America.
